Hello there! Hope everyone had/is having a good weekend. For me this weekend was terrible! Took a 6-hour trip to Boone NC to see my college team lose a game that we shoulda won due to a stupid coaching error and my Redskins lost. The latter wasn't really a surprise though lol. Another reason that this weekend sucked was because I made the final decision to close BeerBux.com. I was originally going to close but then decided to open back up and then I realized that no matter what i did fraud was going to happen and I simply don't have the time to prevent fraud so I'm giving that up and moving back to being a referrer to good sites that I trust.
Speaking of sites....I would like to give a farewell to SpareStash.com. I heard the announcement today that they were closing and would just like to say that I hate to see them go. I had been a member of SpareStash even though I never really participated there much I still hate to see it close. I never had any problems with SpareStash but had heard a few bad things from people regarding the owner banning some members due to fraud and a few accusations of members being deleted for no reason. Whether the members actually committed fraud or did anything wrong I am not in a position to say but it sucks to see another site go. However, it will allow her to be closer with her family which is good and understandable because running a site takes up a TON of TIME!
Well thats about it for today. Look for our upcoming series: "Referrals Are A Help". In this series I will be giving tips for getting referrals for GPT sites and also showing you what doesn't work! This is for anyone...from newbies to experts. So look forward to that!

The Black Friday Rule!
Hey Everyone. Well my mum just informed me that we are wakin up at good ole 4AM to head out to circuit city. Apparently this is the only time o year that you can get a laptop. Fighting the crowds kinda reminds me of those new ebay commercials....the ones that say its better when you win it. I think thats why so many people head out on Black Friday to shop. Well the deals might have a little to do with it. But anyway that inspired me to write up a few rules to Black Friday shopping for your enjoyment...after all you need a way to spend all that money you make from Working at Home right?
10 Black Friday Rules:
1. If you want to get a good spot in line you're going to need to line up at least 2 days in advance meaning you need to bring a tent, dining table, oven, and the turkey to your local Best Buy.
2. No matter what time you get to the store...there will always be someone there first.
3. Thanksgiving night will feel like the coldest and windiest night of the entire year and you will be glad you did nothing but sleep and eat thanksgiving day.
4. If you are going to a store where you will need a shopping cart...make sure you bring your own because they will all be gone.
5. Nice old ladies are no longer nice on Black Friday. I know from experience, I have been hit with a cart, smacked with a purse, and one lady even ran into me with her walker! Last year was brutal.
6. On Black Friday, no one is feared more on the road than mom's in minivans. They are at war to get that special toy for their boy, girl, or all of the above. Look out they haven't had their morning coffee.
7. Don't talk to anyone...they will automatically accuse you of cutting in line or may possibly want the item you are holding that is $5 cheaper than every Sunday that things go on sale.
8. The stores never actually had the items on Page 1...those supposed doorbusters are just a myth to get you in the door.
9. I don't care how much you want shoes or a sweater...a clothing store is not worth going to when they open at 4AM.
10. If you do happen to go shopping on Black Friday, do not talk to any sales associates....this is their most dreaded day of the year. Yes the store may be making tons of money but the sales associates are getting paid by the hour and could care less!
So everyone, remember these 10 rules as you go out and fight the crowds on Black Friday, they just may help you make it home safely. Drive safely the cops are apparently cracking down this weekend...why I'm not sure I wasn't aware Thanksgiving was a big drinking holiday!

So you think you can earn?
Hello once again....man am I stuffed and tired. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it on this wonderful day of the year. I didn't plan on adding anything to the blog but I figured I would as I slowly slip into a turkey coma. As we reach the end of November, it's that time again...PAYOUTS! Now everyone knows this is the busiest time of the month. Payouts are happening, end of the month contests are running, and people are racing to see how much they can get before the end of the month! Now I know what your saying...Ryan there is a whole week left in the month! Well this is the most critical month of the year... this is when the Scam sites run and the good sites stay. Why do the scam sites run? Because they got their Christmas money from your hard work. In fact just a few days ago extraholidaycashgpt went up for sale on ebay with a few false figures. Now i'm not saying this site isn't going to pay nor do I know if they are going to pay or not...i'm just saying that it's not looking good with the history that this site owner has.
That brings us to todays question: How can I tell if a site is legitimate or not?
Well I must say that it's sad that the GPT world has come down to this. I remember just not too long ago that EVERY site was legitimate...i had never seen a site close without notice, go without paying, ban members for no reason or any of that. But in recent months there has been an alarming increase in fraud and because of that members have been banned. These members then left and started up their own sites...and of course many of them are scamming with them too. So with 20 GPT sites popping up a day and filling Sh**Codes pockets one can only ask....how can i make sure I don't join a fraudulent site?
How To Avoid Joining Fraudsters GPT Sites!
Well as cruel as this is going to be to new site owners....I have to recommend NOT joining sites that have very recently been started. Join sites that have a long paying history such as DealBarbiePays, CashCrate, or SWATCash. All 3 of which have been around since I started doing GPT sites and have paid me NUMEROUS times.
Another way to avoid fraudulent sites is to join a forum or 2 that have sections focused around GPT sites....chances are if a site is a scam site someone else has tried it and gotten screwed as well. There are 2 forums in particular I recommend...the first is the WAHM.com forum if you are a Work At Home mom as well as the newly developed WAHMvoice.com forum. If you are not a Work at home mom I recommend joining MoneyTalkPro.com forum which is another good forum though not as active have lots of members in GPTs.
As always a good way to avoid getting screwed over is to not put all of your eggs in 1 basket. Join multiple sites. If you need a list of sites that have been around for a while and are sure bets check out my site http://ryanxo.googlepages.com. I haven't updated it for a while but those sites have been around for a long time.
I hope these tips helped. If you need anymore assistance please send me an email at ubersteals@gmail.com. This is the email I am using for my upcoming UberSteals.com website where I am going to find good deals online and write reviews on them :). Look for that in the near future.

A few Conditions to Meet Before You Can Join!
So you're just getting started with Get Paid to take survey sites huh? Well the first thing to realize is that there are a few conditions that most sites require you to meet. Most sites will require you to be from the United States. There are a few exceptions such as Make That Dollar and BeerBux but for these sites even there are very few offers for anyone outside of the US. This is not the site owners fault, the advertisers just aren't looking for traffic from international areas. The next condition that you have to meet for most sites is that you must be 18 or older. This is mainly for tax reasons. Again there are a few exceptions to this rule such as ChillinCash and CashCrate but these are of a dying breed since more and more owners are having problems with fraud from users under the age of 18 and have had to change their requirements. I wouldn't recommend lying about your age either because they will find out. Maybe not at first but eventually plus fraud hurts the GPT industry so you are ruining it for everyone.
When it comes to offers you have to make sure that you haven't completed the same offers on another site. Many people try to get away with completing the exact same offers on more than one site...not cool. That's also fraud and not allowed so please try not to do it...and especially don't do it on purpose. Keep track of your offers either by joining sites that use GPTTracker or by using a spreadsheet or something to keep track of them.
LAST AND NOT LEAST....don't use same IPs. The scripts that the sites are made on will ban you automatically. The owners don't even have to catch it the script does it for them. That means don't logon at another members house, don't let them signup at your house, don't do anything that would allow you to have the same IP as anyone else at any point.
Following these basic things should keep you from being banned from any sites. If there is anything I've forgotten please send me an email :)
